Welcome to CmdWise (hereinafter referred to as "the Software")! Please read the following service statement carefully before using the Software. By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Service

The Software is an AI-powered command line visualization application designed to provide convenient command operation interfaces to global users. Before using the Software, please ensure that you have a stable internet connection (for AI-powered features) and fully understand and accept all the terms in this statement.

2. User License

The Software grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on your own devices. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the Software in any way.

2.1 License Tiers

• Free Tier: Limited features as specified in the Application.
• Paid Tiers: Additional features based on the subscription plan purchased.

3. System Permissions & Command Execution

The Software requires certain system permissions to operate properly. By using the Software:

• You acknowledge that the Software executes system commands based on your input and configuration.
• You understand that executing commands can modify your system's files, settings, and behavior.
• You assume all risks associated with the use of the Software and accept full responsibility for all commands executed through the Software.
• You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to verify the safety and appropriateness of all commands before execution.

4. User Content

When you create, share, or upload custom command visualizations ("User Content"):

• You retain ownership of your User Content.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, use, and display your User Content solely as needed to provide the Software.
• You represent that your User Content doesn't violate any laws or third-party rights.
• You agree not to share malicious, harmful, or illegal commands.

5. Data Usage

The Software will analyze commands and generate visual interfaces using AI algorithms. By using the Software, you understand and agree that personal data may be collected and processed for providing more accurate visualization functionalities. We are committed to strictly adhere to our privacy policy to protect your personal information.

6. Billing & Refunds

6.1 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by our third‑party payment provider, Paddle. Prices shown in the Application or on our website are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. By purchasing a license or subscription, you authorize Paddle to charge the payment method you provide for the total amount displayed at checkout, including any recurring subscription fees.

6.2 Subscriptions & Renewals

• Initial Term: Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly, as selected) unless you cancel before renewal.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Paddle customer portal or by contacting our support team. Your access will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again.

6.3 Refund Policy

• 14‑Day Cooling‑Off Period: If you are unsatisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund of your first purchase within fourteen (14) days of the transaction date. No explanation is required, but feedback is appreciated.
• Renewals: Renewal payments are non‑refundable. To avoid future charges, please cancel your subscription before the renewal date.
• Lifetime Licenses & Seat Packs: One‑time license fees are refundable within fourteen (14) days of purchase, provided the license has not been activated on more than one device.
• How to Request a Refund: Send an email to support@cmdwise.app with your order number and the email used at checkout, or use the Paddle self‑service refund link included in your receipt. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5‑10 business days.
• Exceptions: Refunds will not be granted where prohibited by law or in cases of abuse (e.g., repeated refund requests, chargeback fraud, or violation of these Terms).

7. Intellectual Property

All rights and intellectual property related to the Software belong to us or our licensors. Without authorization, you may not use, copy, modify, or distribute the content and technology of the Software in any way.

8. Disclaimer of Liability

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, we do not provide any express or implied warranties regarding the applicability, reliability, accuracy, or availability of the Software.

To the extent permitted by law:

• We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages or liabilities arising from the use of the Software.
• The visualizations and interfaces provided by the Software are for reference and convenience purposes only and cannot replace your understanding and judgment of the original commands.
• We are not responsible for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies that may occur during the use of the Software.
• We are not liable for any system changes, data loss, or other consequences resulting from commands executed through the Software.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Software at any time, with or without prior notice. We may terminate your license to use the Software immediately if you violate any terms of this service statement. You may terminate these Terms by uninstalling the Software.

10. Updates and Changes

We may update the Software and these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Software after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

This service statement is governed by the laws and jurisdiction applicable to your location and shall be interpreted accordingly. In the event of any disputes or controversies, you agree to submit them to the appropriate court for resolution.
